Disclaimer and Denial of Liability

While swords are geat display ornaments and an enjoyable tool of martial art they are not toys. Swords and other blades must be handled with the same attention and care one would give a loaded gun, but unlike guns they don't have a safety switch.
  • Keep them stored safely away from children.
  • Use them well clear of other people, pets, kids etc.
  • Never handle them when intoxicated.
  • Never use them in cutting drills until you have first become proficient through qualified person to person training. Books are helpful education but personal training is vital to safely handle any blade.
Despite the impression given in movies and books, swords are subject to fatigue and failure and they can't "chop steel", or concrete pillars, or other swords. They're not to chop trees, or dead bone either.
They need to be handled with dilligence, and strictly inspected and maintained to protect their integrity and keep them performing. The steel can be fatigued through frequent use, and should be inspected.
I will not be responsible for any injury or death that occurs during the ownership of use of these blades, including that which may be inflicted on the user, surrounding people, pets, or property.

You must be over 18 and take the time to learn the legal requirements of blade ownership in your area, so we can respect them.

I will not be responsible for any legal or tax implications that may affect weapon ownership or possession in your area.

By purchasing a sword from me you understand the risks involved and agree to waive any right to hold me legally liable or responsible for any loss or damage that may be suffered.

FAQ

What is my product made of?
Unless otherwise noted, your Weapon / Armour is made of carbon steel.

Do I need to worry about Rust?
If your product is not made of Stainless Steel, IT WILL RUST. Care must be taken to prevent rusting. The best way to protect against rust is to maintain a light coating of machine oil on the article at all times. Fingerprints and other skin contact can etch steel indelibly because of the oils and acids in human skin, so always wipe the item clean and re-oil it after use or handling.

Can I store my product in it's scabbard?
DO NOT store carbon steel blades in a leather scabbard! Most scabbards are made of commercially tanned leather that has a high quantity of tannic acid in it. This acid will corrode a carbon steel blade rapidly and usually does permanent damage to the polish.

What about my Japanese blade?
The scabbard (saya) of a Japanese blade is made of wood, and is intended for long-term storage of the blade. Inside the scabbard (saya) is the safest place for a Japanese sword to be.

My blade is Stainless Steel, what about it?
Stainless steel blades are just that, stain LESS. They are NOT "will never rust". We still recommend you do not store any blade in a leather scabbard long-term.

Are these REAL weapons?
Your Weapon / Armour is NOT A TOY. These items are historically accurate reproductions of combat arms and armour. They are sharp and pointy and can hurt you!! Always follow this safety precaution: BE CAREFUL!!!

What if I do something stupid or get hurt?
